About Nils-Andre – Founder of travel4med & medical student

Hello and welcome! I am Nils-Andre, medical student and founder of travel4med. During my own nursing internships and clinical placements, I realised how valuable international experience is for personal and professional development – but also how difficult it often is to organise such placements.

That's exactly why I started travel4med: to make it easier for medical students to learn about exciting healthcare systems around the world and have unforgettable experiences at the same time.

We now accompany hundreds of students to Sri Lanka, Bali and Nepal every year – and I am delighted to be part of this journey. In addition to my work behind the scenes, I also write regularly about my own experiences here in the blog, give tips on studying medicine and show you what really matters when it comes to clinical placements and internships abroad.
