travelformed GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
As a rule, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Automatic data storage
When you visit websites today, certain information is automatically generated and stored, including on this website.
When you visit our website, our web server (the computer on which this website is stored) automatically stores data such as the IP address of your device, the addresses of the subpages visited, details about your browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.) and the date and time. We do not use this data and do not usually pass it on, but we cannot rule out the possibility that this data may be accessed in the event of illegal behavior.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
The data you voluntarily submit to us via our contact form will be used to send you our free information packages by mail. Without collecting your personal data (such as your name and address), it would not be possible to send you the documents by mail. We therefore only use your personal data to process the services offered on this website. If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. When ordering the information package, you also agree that we, travelformed GmbH, may use your data in the future for advertising purposes (e.g., advertising for information events), including advertising by mail.
We will not pass on your personal data that you send us via our contact form, including your address and email address, to third parties without your express consent, which can be revoked at any time. Excluded from this are our service partners who require the transfer of data for order processing (e.g., the shipping company responsible for delivery and our partner companies). In these cases, however, the scope of the data transferred is limited to the minimum required.
How long we store your data
We store your personal data for 2 years. Upon request, we can delete your data immediately at any time.
If we are obliged to store your data for a longer period in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR due to tax and commercial law storage and documentation obligations (from the German Commercial Code, Criminal Code or Fiscal Code), we have an overriding legitimate interest in storing it beyond this period, or you have consented to storage beyond this period in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, these periods shall apply.
What rights you have regarding your data
If you send us inquiries via contact forms, you can request an export of your personal data from us, including all data you have provided to us. In addition, you can request the deletion of all personal data we have stored about you. This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
Where we send your data
We do not pass on your personal data that you send us via our contact form, including your address and email address, to third parties without your express and revocable consent. Excluded from this are our service partners who require the transfer of data for order processing (e.g., the shipping company responsible for delivery and our partner companies). In these cases, however, the scope of the data transferred is limited to the minimum required.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, you provide us with the above-mentioned personal data and give us the right to contact you by email newsletter. We use the data stored during the newsletter registration process exclusively for our newsletter.
If you unsubscribe from the newsletter—you will find the link for this at the bottom of each newsletter—we will delete all data stored when you registered for the newsletter. We use Hubspot for our newsletter service. Information about Hubspot can be found below.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
We use Google Analytics from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on this website to statistically evaluate visitor data. Google Analytics uses target-oriented cookies for this purpose.
Analysis services
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies." These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser plugin
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Objection to data collection
If you activated Google Analytics when you first visited our website, you can still prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data at any time by deactivating Google Analytics in the privacy settings: Change privacy settings.
For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please refer to Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the "demographic characteristics" feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain information about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google and visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be attributed to any specific individual. You can disable this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section "Objection to data collection."
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Microsoft."
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000KzNaAAK
Microsoft guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also complied with when processing data in the USA.
The Microsoft Clarity service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.
Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our website, is transferred to a Microsoft server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Microsoft Clarity with the so-called anonymization function. With this function, Microsoft shortens the IP address within the EU or EEA.
The data collected in this way is in turn used by Microsoft to provide us with an evaluation of visits to our website and the usage activities there. This data can also be used to provide further services related to the use of our website and the use of the internet.
Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").
We use conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of "conversion cookies" is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
For more information about Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking, please refer to Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
You can find out how Google uses data from websites or apps on which Google services are used here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=de
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type/browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.
SSL encryption
In order to protect your transmitted data in the best possible way, the website operators use SSL encryption. You can recognize such encrypted connections by the prefix "https://" in the page link in the address line of your browser. Unencrypted pages are marked by "http://".
All data that you transmit to this website—for example, in inquiries or logins—cannot be read by third parties thanks to SSL encryption.
Embedded content from other websites
Posts on this website may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, posts, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking services, and record your interaction with this embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to this website.
